Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT) is a member-driven organization that serves as the collective voice of professional theatres across Canada. Since 1979, PACT has played a leading role in the national performing arts community—advocating for the value of live performance and supporting the people who make it possible.
Through its network, PACT brings together artistic and administrative leaders from across the country to exchange ideas, address shared challenges, and develop innovative solutions that strengthen the theatre sector.
Our Partnership
We’re proud to partner with PACT in supporting the next iteration of the Access Playbook.
As part of this collaboration, PACT has sponsored five of its member organizations to participate in the Spring Cohort. This support helps expand access to the program for theatres across the country, particularly those who may not otherwise have the resources to participate.
Together, we share a commitment to building a more accessible and equitable performing arts sector—one where Deaf and Disabled artists are meaningfully represented on stage, and where organizations are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to support that work.
This partnership reflects a growing momentum across the sector: a recognition that accessibility is an essential part of how we create, present, and experience live performance!
