Hours: Part-time / contract (scope-based)
Compensation: Paid contract (rate negotiable)
About Creative Connector
Creative Connector is a national arts service organization dedicated to supporting Deaf and Disabled artists and strengthening disability-led practice in the performing arts. We’re currently preparing for the Spring 2026 launch of The Access Playbook, an introductory program that helps arts presenters build better collaborations with Deaf and Disabled artists.
As part of this launch, we’re creating a series of high-quality introductory videos that will serve both as core learning content and as the primary marketing campaign for the program.
About the role
We’re seeking a Video & Content Producer to support the creation, publication, and promotion of a 6-video introductory series for the Access Playbook.
All video content will be created remotely/virtually. The Video & Content Producer will support filming workflows that work well for remote contributors, including Deaf and Disabled associates appearing on camera from their own locations. Each video will be 5–10 minutes in length. This role will help ensure the videos are:
- Well-produced and accessible
- Cohesive as a series
- Strategically published for reach and discoverability
This is a short-term contract focused on production + launch, with potential for future collaboration.
Key responsibilities
Video production & coordination
- Lead the virtual production of 6 introductory videos (5–10 minutes each)
- Design and support remote video production workflows (e.g. virtual filming, coordinating contributors across locations, time zones, managing file transfers)
- Coordinate with Creative Connector staff and Deaf and Disabled associates involved in each module
- Ensure high-quality audio, visual consistency, and accessibility considerations (captions, ASL, etc)
Publishing & platform management
- Upload and publish videos on YouTube and selected social platforms
- Create and organize an Access Playbook YouTube playlist that is clear, accessible, and visually cohesive
- Apply basic SEO best practices (titles, descriptions, tags) to maximize discoverability
Promotion & content strategy
- Support or advise on how video content can be used to promote the Access Playbook
- Coordinate timing of releases as part of a broader marketing push
- Work with the team to repurpose or adapt content for social media where appropriate
Design & visuals (bonus)
- Support light graphic design needs related to video thumbnails, title cards, or social assets
- Ensure visuals align with Creative Connector branding and accessibility values
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of technical and creative skill, care, and collaboration.
You might be a good fit if you:
- Have experience producing and publishing video content for digital platforms
- Understand YouTube, social media publishing, and basic SEO
- Are comfortable working collaboratively with artists with disabilities
- Value disability-led, relational approaches to storytelling
- Can manage timelines and deadlines independently while staying in communication
Bonus if you have:
- Graphic design experience
- Experience working in the arts or cultural sector
- Familiarity with accessibility considerations in video production
How we work
Creative Connector is a small, disability-led team. We value:
- Clear communication

This role is designed to be paid, respectful, and achievable within the contract period.
