About the Artist
Art has always been a prevalent theme in Viktoriya’s life. Starting at the age of seven, Viktoriya spent her childhood in evening art classes in her hometown of Vladivostok, Russia. From their early years she was trained as a classical artist and taught sophisticated techniques that led to her winning numerous art competitions before the age of 9.
She carried her passion for art throughout her high school years, and enrolled in a College Art program upon graduation, where she received a diploma in Art Design. Shortly after, Viktoriya aimed to focus on her art career but experienced many barriers and challenges as a Deaf artist in Russia that prompted a needed switch of directions to earn an income. Viktoriya was able to earn two more degrees in Interior Design and Publishing & Editing as an attempt to connect her lifelong passion for art with a career that could provide for her and her family.
